TU/e Industrial Design and ArtEZ Fashion Masters joined forces to explore and build wearables in an one week module lead by Oscar Tomico.

In the “Crafting wearables” workshop students looked into how textiles can be dynamic and move, behave, change properties, color and how this would relate to the way of being, walking, living. How people change their appearance and way of being in extreme situations, how dynamic garments would change the way people act.

The goal was to research the boundaries between the human body, its movement and the technological possibilities in order to create new fashionable solutions for the fashion industry.
