The German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz, DFKI) is the leader the development of innovatie software technologies in Germany. In the international scientific community, DFKI counts to of the most important „centers of excellence“ and is nowadays – considering the number of employees and third-party funding budget – the biggest research center on artificial intelligence in the world.
DFKI is now looking for a senior researcher (m/f) or a researcher (m/f) to join the research group „Interactive Textiles“ (head: Prof. Dr. Gesche Joost) in Berlin.
This part-time position (20h/week) is financed as part of the research project „UPLINX“ funded by BMBF (German Ministery of Education and Research) and limited to 24 months. The research project’s scope is to develop an inter-university qualification curriculum in the area of machine learning. The research group „Interactive Textiles“ contributes the focus on wearables and Internet of Things to the joint curriculum.
