PATTERNING BY HEAT:
RESPONSIVE TEXTILE STRUCTURE.
EXHIBITION by Delia Dumitrescu and Felecia Davis.
November 5 - 14 2012, opening reception Thursday, November 8, 6 - 8pm
Keller gallery in The School of Architecture and Planning
at MIT, Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
WORKSHOP: November 10, 2012
Patterning with Heat: responsive architectural environments is a further exploration that has as foundation the knitted material data base reacting to heat from Glimpses that Delia Dumitrescu build together with Anna Persson.
This part develops further new structures and ways to build dynamic patterns in three-dimensional shapes; it directly addresses its knowledge to the architectural design field.
The project is done in collaboration with Felecia Davis, phd student Architecture and Computation, MIT.
